About the Position: Serve as the Division Chief for the Strategic Initiatives Group, with responsibility for accomplishing the Office of the Chief Information Officer's strategic planning, communications, outreach, and engagements. Position is located at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA.

Duties

Responsible for accomplishing the Office of the Chief Information Officer’s strategic planning, communications, outreach, and engagements. Advise the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the Chief Data and Analytics Officer (CDAO) on strategic planning and business process policies and procedures that will optimize the use of resources to accomplish CIO and CDAO objectives. Develop strategy and business process for the CIO to enable strategic communication, facilitate key engagements, and synchronize the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Supervise civilian, military, and contractor employees and plan work to be accomplished by subordinates and sets priorities.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret – Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • You may be expected to travel up to 15% for this position.
  • This position is a Testing Designated Position subject to applicant testing and random drug testing. Selectees will be required to sign DA Form 5019 requiring participation in random drug urinalysis testing.
