You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the G1 Directorate, Civilian Manpower Branch of the MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION.
Duties
You will provide oversight and recommendations for strategic civilian workforce management based on analysis and studies or management efficiency and effectiveness.
You will analyze civilian workforce data and structure and make mission-based decisions using a total force view of work being performed.
You will develop plans, policies, procedures and objectives necessary to implement and maintain viable management and manpower programs within the Command.
You will plan, organize, and carry through to completion analytical studies and business case analysis involving command level strategic workforce issues.
You will assign work and supervise program plans, policies, objectives, priorities, and schedule resource and position management responsibilities.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: advising and leading in matters pertaining to planning, programming, budget execution, workforce shaping, and validation of structure and requirements for human capital planning and management (e.g. manpower requirements, total force management boards, and manpower authorization and schedules, etc.).
