About the Position: This position supports the mission of the Defense Health Agency (DHA), J8, Financial Operations Division.

Duties

Serve as an authoritative source in the development and implementation of programs, projects and technical support/consultation that focus on improving business practices. Access and operate the EHR and all associated input mechanisms and programs, which include Healthcare Artifact and Image Management Solution (HAIMS), Composite Health Care System (CHCS), and MHS GENESIS. Perform process improvement functions in support of productivity analysis, provider currency, resource allocation, patient care, examination of clinical outcomes, and managed care support contracts. Develop studies, summaries, and analyses from various source data collection systems, which the MTF needs to validate inpatient and outpatient workload at the patient encounter level. Assist with development and execution of EHR training material, guidance, workflows and policy. Assists with bridging any gaps in EHR data quality capabilities.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
• A one- year trial/probationary period may be required.
