You will serve as an EXERCISE DESIGNER (MANEUVER) in the MARINE CORPS TACTICS AND OPERATIONS GROUP of OFFICE OF THE COMMANDING GENERAL.
Duties
You will provide professional expertise as a ground combat elements maneuver planner in support of this organization's formal learning programs.
You will participate and contribute in exercise and scenario progress reviews, planning conferences, and staff briefs.
You will support the planning, coordination, management, execution, and conduct of pre and post-exercise actions.
You will participate in designing and developing MCTOG (Marine Corps Tactics and Operations Group) Battle Staff Training exercises and other exercises hosted/supported by MCTOG.
You will support each exercise through preparation and execution by employing analysis of continuing changes to training objectives and exercise requirements.
You will aid in the development and implementation of the After Action Review Collections Plan ensuring relevant observations are captured and debriefed.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final TOP SECRET SCI security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: plan, coordinate, manage, and execute exercise and scenario training; design and develop formal training programs related to ground combat operations; and analyze training and exercise requirements to determine alignment with program objectives.
