Duties
Serve as the Instrumentation Integration Analyst for the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Capability (JPMRC) Instrumentation System (IS).
Responsible for the operation of the Instrumentation System and its support of an exercise rotation.
Perform duties pertaining to the coordination of all aspects of instrumentation and communications.
Prepare and briefs the JPMRC command and other leaders on the JPMRC Instrumentation System and ongoing integration efforts.
Provide guidance and assistance with respect to IS operations as necessary for the Instrumentation Training Analysis Computer Simulations and Support (ITACSS) organization.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 25 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- During rotational exercises, the employee is required to work a flexible duty hours which includes - weekends, holidays, and shift work consistent of 10-12 hours days.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes reading and translating technical drawings; preparing reports and briefings with engineering terms embedded using MS Office; communicating technical information to illustrate advantages or disadvantages of a particular course of action; and experience with Combat Training Center Methodologies including Instrumentation Data Collection Networks. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
