Duties

You will have knowledge of theory and principles of management and organization pertaining to communication, delegation of authority, routing of correspondence, filing systems, storage of files and records. You will have the ability to apply analytical techniques and evaluative methods to issues or studies concerning administrative support functions. You will analyze data and make recommendations regarding content and acceptability of tasking to include action and coordination. You will utilize oral communication to tactfully obtain information to complete or correct correspondence or special actions within established timeframes.

Requirements

  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying analytical techniques and evaluating methods to issues or studies concerning administrative support functions and make recommendations regarding content and acceptability of tasking to include action and coordination; 2) Completing administrative tasks to include, preparing administrative documents, maintaining records and files; and 3) Utilizing software applications to fulfill organizational requirements. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.B. or J.D., if related
