Job opening: ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

Salary: $99 044 - 128 956 per year

You will serve as Administrative Officer in the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) Program Management Office (PMO) of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Headquarters. Position may be filled by employees at either of the locations listed above.

Duties

You will support the overall responsibility of the BRAC PMO to be effective and efficient in the execution of Department of the Navy (DoN) BRAC realignment, closure, and disposal actions. You will provide administrative support for the PMO-wide program, including using MS365 tools, travel program, credit card program, billet management and training support. You will design, establish, and maintain SharePoint Sites that support the overall PMO organization and the functions of the BRAC PMO Business Team. You will support the BRAC PMO Travel Program as either a Travel Reviewer or as the Organization Defense Travel Administrator. You will support the BRAC PMO Government Commercial Purchase Card program as either Agency Program Coordinator (APC) or Approving Official in accordance with DoN and NAVFAC Headquarters instructions. You will coordinate with NAVFAC Headquarters Manpower Team for management of BRAC PMO billets (civilian and contractor). You will coordinate with NAVFAC HQ Training Coordinator and BRAC PMO Leadership to update and maintain the BRAC PMO Community Management Plan.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
  • You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Using MS365 tools, including managing/designing/maintaining SharePoint sites; 2) Developing and maintaining MS 365 Power Automate and Workflow applications; 3) Performing Travel Reviewer or Approver functions in DoD travel systems; 4) Performing Certifying/Approving Official functions in Government Purchase Card Program; 5) Preparing written communications for GS-15 level distribution; and 6) Executing/evaluating Business functions and/or processes.
