Duties
Design multi-tenant Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps architectures to support Army requirements.
Build, configure, and maintain enterprise IaC, DevSecOps, and container hosting platforms.
Develop minimum baselines with both static and dynamic application security testing (SAST/DAST) tools to ensure compliance in the DevSecOps code deployments with the minimum baselines.
Provide forward thinking technical expertise in current and emerging technologies, trends, and practices through collaboration with industry.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements and translates those into actionable technical requirements.
Work with application owners to migrate their existing code development processes and infrastructure into the ALTESS hosted DevSecOps environment.
Manage emergent tasks against multiple shifting priorities, mitigating risks, and eliminating blockers.
Incorporate cybersecurity throughout all projects to ensure cybersecurity compliance with all DoD and Army policies and commercial best practices.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Foundational Level (formerly Level I) in (N) Engineering and Technical Management certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
- Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 is required on pre-employment and annually thereafter.
- Secret Security Clearance.
- Up to 10% travel on business.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. To qualify based on your experience, you must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies:

AND
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position based on experience your resume must describe one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level in the Federal service which includes:1) Planning, coordinating, and executing technical IT tasks in support of DoD IT projects;; AND 2) Guiding and integrating functional efforts of individuals or teams in support of customer interaction; AND3) Communicating project or program results to all levels, internally and externally.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 or GS-11 equivalent
