Duties
Serve as the Force Plans Officer responsible for preparing, coordinating, and reviewing of Army plans in support of US Indo Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) and HQ Department of the Army (HQDA) taskings and directives.
Develop plans from concept to final approval and submission to higher headquarters.
Responsible for the development, maintenance, and coordination of Army input to the time-phased force deployment list (TPFDL) to support joint contingency plans and exercises.
Advise and assist USINDOPACOM component staffs on Army planning matters in the Pacific.
Generate a variety of OPLAN, Exercise and Operational Time Phased Force Deployment Data (TPFDD).
Develop and coordinate USARPAC staff positions in response to taskings from HQDA.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- This position is designated as Drug Testing Required. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing IAW DA guidelines. Incumbent must complete DA 5019.
