DCSA's DOD Insider Threat Management and Analysis Center (DITMAC) is seeking a Prevention Assistance & Response (PAR) Coordinator. As such you will provide technical assistance to the installation and tenant Commander(s) in addressing matters concerning PAR and facilitate the identification and resolution of workplace and violence prevention issues and concerns common to the Military Services and joint commands within their assigned locality.

Duties

As an INSIDER THREAT ASSESSMENT ANALYST (PAR COORDINATOR) you will be responsible for the following duties: Conduct operational coordination in support of the Prevention, Assistance, and Response (PAR) program * Communicate effectively to DITMAC leadership, installation Prevention and Resilience Program Managers, Commanders, and to PAR coordinators in the field * Evaluate operational challenges, identify solutions, and implement change related to violence prevention * Facilitates proactive action to mitigate insider risk and support DoD personnel or DoD-affiliated personnel on the installation. * Support the development of metrics to support DOD ROI * Coordinate across DCSA and DOD to enable effective program implementation

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GG/GS 12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: The ability to identify and implement foundational elements of prevention activities, risk assessment, mitigation, and dissemination at the operational and tactical levels. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1. Program Outreach: Develop and implement programs and activities to establish, maintain, and enhance public awareness and enable mutually beneficial relationships to meet the needs of stakeholders. 2. Management Analysis: Conducts research and solves organizational inefficiencies to increase the effectiveness of the organization. 3. Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally to internal and external stakeholders to further the activity.
