About the Position: Serves the Office of the Administrative Assistant to the Secretary of the Army (OAASA) as the Senior Staff Action Control Officer (SACO) for the Headquarters Department of Army Tracking System monitoring the system and providing support to the organization.
Duties
Develop, maintain, analyze, and report on OAA staff actions, the hierarchical, team-based organization, and reporting structure within the Enterprise Task Management Service Solution (ETMS2) system.
Serve as Records Manager and editor of senior level correspondence.
Utilize Army records management system and policy concerning the program; general computer applications (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, etc.); and Army regulations and policy publishing directorate website.
Analyze problems of administrative matters and develops and recommends solutions.
Analyze all incoming documents to determine specified and implied tasks and action the incoming tasking accordingly.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and access.

Specialize Experience: One-year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service which includes analyzing problems of administrative matters and providing recommendations for improvement; conducting research in order to obtain facts and background material to prepare special studies, projects, reports articles, briefings and/or speeches; utilize automated systems/programs such as, general computer applications (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe, etc.) and Army regulations and policy publishing directorate website.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
