About the Position: The Anniston Army Depot is located in Anniston, Alabama in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountain chain half way between Atlanta, GA and Birmingham, Alabama just off interstate 20. The depot is the largest Employer in Calhoun County with approximately 4000 employees.

Duties

Provide advice to supervisor regarding personnel/manpower functions and changes in guidance. Coordinate, maintain and update the working Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA). Review manpower program guidance. Serve as office training coordinator. Monitor the Department of Defense (DoD) Performance and appraisal Program (DPMAP) for the organization.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Position requires a qualified typist.
  • Position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Government Purchase Card (GPC).

Entering information from magistrate court, traffic court, ethic compliance and training using a variety of office automation software programs such as Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: ClericalCustomer Service (Clerical/Technical)Writing Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
