About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
Duties
Ensures adjustments to the Command METL and subordinate METLs are made because of ARCYBER mission changes and/or annual Command training and capabilities assessments.
Coordinates content with course managers and interfaces with Joint Staff, J7 to host the training on the Joint Knowledge Online portal.
Assists in planning, coordinating, and executing meetings and conferences related to readiness reporting.
Ensures the establishment and maintenance of a methodology for collecting, reviewing, and analyzing unit status data.
Develops and issues guidance for the collection of unit status data during mobilization, contingency operations, the deliberate planning process, and post mobilization.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Position is designated Critical-Sensitive (3) requiring the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance with eligible access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
- Incumbent must be willing to undergo and successfully complete initial and periodic Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CI/Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks [Military Affairs Desk Officer (MADO) Security In-Processing (SIP) process].
- Temporary Duty (TDY) business travel will be required approximately 25% of the time.
- This is a Mission-Essential (ME) position and is occupied by an agency designated Emergency employee. You will be expected to report to or remain at your worksite during dismissal or closure situations.
- This position is a testing designated position (TDP) in accordance with (IAW) Drug Free Federal Workplace Program. As a precondition and continuing condition of employment,
- the incumbent of this position must, IAW Chapter 5, section II, paragraphs 5-8b and 5-8c(4) of AR 600-85 (The Army Substance Abuse Program) and DA PAM 600-85
- (Army Substance Abuse Program Civilian Services), Chapter 3, paragraphs 3-2e and f agree to submit urinalysis testing on a recurring bases.
- The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the DA, Drug Free Federal Workplace Program.

Assists in the development and continuous management of the ARCYBER Mission Essential Task List (METL) and subordinate METLs for the command.
Coordinates with the Department of the Army (DA) and other Joint-level organizations to ensure ARCYBER and readiness reporting procedures are following Army and Joint requirements as it relates to the development process.
Oversees the management of the readiness reporting programs for the Command to include the development of policies, standards, and procedures for reporting unit readiness status, both for Army and Joint requirements.
