About the Position: The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) develops and delivers responsive aviation, missile and calibration materiel readiness to the U.S. Army. The position is located within AMCOM, Industrial Operations & Materiel Support Directorate - AWCF, however multiple vacancies maybe filled using this announcement.
Duties
Apply comprehensive knowledge of logistics management to solve problems/issues to ensure objectives are met.
Assure critical actions are integrated and properly executed to provide cohesive approach to logistics support requirements.
Review/direct the implementation of Department of Army (DA) and Department of Defense (DoD) program guidance within assigned areas.
Coordinate between U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC) Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs), and other DOD entities to determine solutions to logistics problems.
Requirements
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 15% of the time.
- This position requires a Secret Clearance.
- This is an Acquisition Position and requires Advance Level III certification in Acquisition Career Field L - Life Cycle Logistics within 48 months of entry on duty.
- Incumbent required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE 450) upon entry and annually thereafter.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes managing repair programs for a weapons system; preparing monthly production reports; and monitoring plans and programs to address production issues such as program trends, significant accomplishments, and/or program bottlenecks//Develop policy and procedures for Life Cycle Logistics business processes. Lead supply chain planning and integrated supply support of end items. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
