The position serves as the Management and Program Analyst, GS-0343-9 FPL 11, located in the Office of Community Supervision and Intervention Services within Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency for the District of Columbia (CSOSA). CSOSA provides community supervision of adult offenders released by the DC Superior Court or the United States Parole Commission on probation, parole and supervised release in the District of Columbia.
Duties
Performs a variety of duties related to the research, data collection and analysis, and identification of criminal activities and enterprises in the Washington, DC, Metropolitan Area to support the effective community supervision of adult probationers.
Monitors case status changes and produces intelligence reports for consumption by internal stakeholders to support staff safety and close supervision.
Utilizes a variety of internal and external databases and open sources to assist supervision staff, management, and other senior leadership with analysis of offender involvement in criminal activity and compliance with supervision.
Collaborates with other law enforcement agencies on straightforward intelligence-gathering problems, such as identifying intelligence gaps.
Participates in collaborative multi-agency task forces authorized by the Agency Director to further intelligence gathering and assist partners in investigations by assembling, collating, coordinating, and analyzing reports and evidence.
Participates in public meetings to provide intelligence-data and reports.
Performs routine and non-complex tasks to assist in the development and maintenance of relationships with law enforcement stakeholders. Assists in developing and implementing plans for disseminating routine information about a specific intelligence discipline and/or program.

- May be required to successfully complete a one year probationary period (unless already completed).
- This is not a virtual or remote position; you must live within or be willing to relocate within a commutable distance of the duty location which is Washington D.C. (District of Columbia).
Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the GS-09 level, you must meet one of the following qualification requirements:
One year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the next lower grade (GS-07 or equivalent in other pay scales) within the federal service, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required.
Specialized Experience is defined as: Performing research and data collection (gathering information); evaluating and analyzing data to create reports or develop policies and procedures for criminal justice / criminal law enforcement activities.
OR
Two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education, or a master's or equivalent graduate degree, or LL.B. or J.D. if education acquired is related, it may be substituted to meet the specialized experience requirement.
OR
Equivalent combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements.
Education Note: If you are using education to substitute for the specialized experience, you must submit transcripts at the time you apply. To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study. Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
