This position is a Budget Analyst within the Office of Assistant Administrator. The ideal candidate will conduct analyses of assigned disaster response financial programs with the branch focusing on innovative ways to improve program effectiveness and customer service, review and evaluate relationships between major agency administered program changes and the financial state of the assigned organizations and advise senior managers on the status of fiscal resources and future requirements.

To qualify for this Budget Analyst position at the IC-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: Coordinating or performing the formulation and execution of an organizational budget; and Applying federal regulations and requirements related to budget; and Briefing stakeholders on budget and acquisition activities, to include spend plan management.
