About the Position: Serves as a supply representative for the Army Print & Media Distribution Center (APMDC), Media Distribution Division (MDD) under the general supervision of the Chief, Logistics Management Branch. This position is located in St. Louis, Missouri.

Duties

Prepare, coordinate, and administer yearly service contracts. Monitor and ensure supply purchases are in compliance with appropriate regulations. Verify the accuracy of shipment versus purchase order. Review credit card charges for completeness and correctness. Perform functions of the Master Hand Receipt holder. Responsible for sub-hand receipting all property to the user level. Conduct investigation to determine the cause of physical inventory discrepancies. Ensure disposal of government property is properly turned into DRMO and accounted for. Manage recycling of paper and cardboard waste on salvaging contract.

Requirements

  • Appointment to this position is subject to a background investigation to determine your suitability for Federal employment.

  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.

OR Education: One full academic year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position such as Logistics Management or Supply Chain Management. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: Specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have some graduate level education as described in B, but less than the required one year. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.).
