The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the recognized information technology (IT) specialist subject matter expert to support development and implementation of readiness assessments as a future operations (FUOPS) readiness analyst.
Duties
Duty 1: Serves as an information technology specialist, subject matter expert on cyberspace operations, as a future operations readiness analyst, to bridge the operational to tactical gaps and provide relevant support to CCMD planning.
Duty 2: Analyzes complex operational, tactical situational awareness processes and cyber systems (security) in order to support mission activities.
Dury 3: Participates in studies, conducts trend analysis and performs other work associated with maintaining maximum combat readiness.
Duty 4: Represents the functional mission at higher levels within the CCMD.

- All new CES employees are required to complete a three-year CES trial period
- The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Special Sensitive Security Clearance with access to sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
- PCS expenses WILL be paid IAW JTR and Air Force Regulations

Qualifications
This is a GG-13 position in the Cyber Excepted Service (CES). The GG-13 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Full Performance" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-13 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:

Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of, and skill in applying, IT/Cyber principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices sufficient to accomplish assignments including the development and interpretation of policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of services throughout the Air Force enterprise and across the DoD Information Network (DoDIN); providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical Cyber issues; MAJCOM exercises, contingency and war planning strategies, the application of new developments to previously unsolvable problems; and making decisions or recommendations that significantly influence important Air Force, CO-IPEs, DoDIN, and USCYBERCOM cyber policies or programs
Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods, performance management and measurement tools, and project management methods sufficient to establish metrics for the assessment and improvement of critical and complex command plans and programs
Knowledge of military and joint structure, missions, programs and organizational relationships and program goals and objectives, management and organizational techniques, exercise planning and processes for use in a wide variety of analytical cyber force readiness evaluations and studies.
