This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), US Coast Guard, YARD, Industrial Department in Baltimore, MD.
Duties
You will be involved in the initiation, planning, execution, control and monitoring and close out of industrial marine projects, including shop repair and renovation. The work involves developing, analyzing, evaluating, advising or improving the effectiveness of workload forecasts, organization, manpower utilization, distribution of work assignments, management controls, information and documentation systems and or similar functions of management.

Qualifications
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade in the Federal service (GS-7 for the GS-9 level and GS-9 for the GS-11 level). ORAt the GS-9 level: 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education or master's or equivalent graduate degree (such as an LL.B. or J.D.)ORAt the GS-11 level: 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degrere. Or a combination of experience and education.Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.Examples of specialized experience include: Conducting portions or phases of a cost effectiveness study for programs; Analyzes and prepares program status reports, etc.National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
