About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Cyber Center of Excellence - 15th Signal BDE at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
Duties
Advises and represents the Cyber Center of Excellence (CCOE), Cyber, Signal, and Ordnance Schools, and Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) Advanced Leaders Course (ALC) on all matters pertaining to SCETP.
Ensures compliance with financial management directives and policies (e.g., Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA) approving official, Government Purchase Card (GPC) certifying official).
Directs the IMS sponsorship program, utilizing local and regional civic and installation individuals and organizations.
Assists the Security Assistance Training Field Activity (SATFA), coordinating specialty courses of training for international students, to include various military signal and information technology systems.
Plans, schedules, and assigns work to accomplish the mission.
Serves as certifying officer and approving authority in management of the FSP budget.
Serves as a primary advisor and point of contact for the command and local community agencies on diverse language, cultural, religious, disciplinary, and other sensitive issues as directed by the Command.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three-year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Temporary duty (TDY) business travel is required approximately 5 percent of the time.
- A one-year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one-year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by (1) Application of Security Cooperation education and Training Program (SCETP)policies to include budget and manpower, (2) managing compliance with financial management directives and policies(including experience with Temporary Lodging Allowance (TLA), Government Purchase Card(GPC), (3)coordinating subordinate work assignments, (4) Coordinating events to include tours, guest speakers, and receptions
