Duties

You will monitor and evaluate systems' compliance with DOD and USMC security requirements. You will provide advice and guidance on implementing IT security policies and procedures in the development and operation of network system safeguards. You will identify attempted and successful security penetrations, information attacks, and malicious logic/virus detection. You will perform detailed analyses of information systems, hardware, software, firmware, and operating systems to research information security vulnerabilities and identify necessary information security safeguards to protect IT assets.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing technical support and guidance in the areas of planning/development for existing or proposed automated information systems developed and/or maintained by TSO in an Agile/SCRUM based team environment and experience in Java development, Relational database programming with Oracle, and using JQuery and Java framework Spring. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
