You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (APPSW) in the ADMINISTRATION AND RESOURCE DIVISION in the of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will perform end-user requests for applications to determine the validity of the requirements.
You will prepare testing and implementation plans.
You will develop web/portal sites and database applications to meet customer requirements.
You will provide support, in the preparation for, and in the conduct of Information Systems Coordinators (ISC) meetings, and other instructional technical briefs.
You will prepare system documentation for complex applications in accordance with agency standards.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- This is an obligated position. The former incumbent has return rights to this position under PL 86-585.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing support for an operational local are network, applications development, end-user hardware, end-user support, for equipment and software on information technology systems AND analyzing functional and technical requirements in order to ensure mission objective are met.
