About the Position: The Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC), a major subordinate command of the Army Materiel Command, focuses on enabling strategic power projection readiness, force materiel, and supply chain optimization in support of multi-domain operations. Recruitment/Relocation incentives maybe authorized to eligible candidates.

Duties

Perform duties within the framework of the published safety regulations, policy, and guidance. Plan, schedule, and conduct periodic safety assessments/inspections of work areas to assure compliance with safety regulations, rules, and standard practices. Develop safety/hazardous material criteria for supply, maintenance, equipment, and facilities. Conduct and document hazard analyses for programs which involve systems or unique operations. Serve as the Radiation Safety Officer, Hearing Conservation Officer, and the Respiratory Protection Officer. Identifies, evaluates, and documents conditions which may be hazardous to workers’ health and safety.

Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Business Travel up to 5%.
  • This position is designated Weather Essential.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: AccountabilityCompliance InspectionRisk ManagementSafety and Health Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
