PMA-226 is seeking candidates to fill (1) Logistics Management Specialist position to serve as F-16 Deputy Assistant Program Manager for Logistics (DAPML) in support of the F-16 APML at Cherry Point, NC. Duties
You will be responsible for managing assigned logistics projects and oversight of all associated workload within the scope of PMA-226 F16 Adversary aircraft.
You will prepare logistics sections of program/acquisition documents using expert knowledge in managing their development.
You will provide guidance and oversight to assigned logisticians ensuring technical sound decision and directions.
You will enforce all logistics policies, procedures, priorities, budgeting fiscal execution and evaluation of the decentralized logistics management efforts.
You will develop ILS planning and supportability requirements for program documentation.
You will exercise resource responsibility/authority over support budgets through the Logistics Requirements and Funding Plan (LRFP) and Program Objectives Memorandum (POM) process.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Developing ILS planning and supportability requirements for program documentation and managing the development and preparation of logistics sections of these documents; 2. Enforcing all logistic policies, procedures, priorities, budgeting, fiscal execution and evaluation of decentralized logistics management efforts; 3. Comprehensive knowledge of the weapon system acquisition life cycle phase.
