The Management Analyst position is located in the Northeast District Office in St. Louis, MO. The employee assists District leadership by carrying out a complete range of administrative, project management, and analytical functions. This position has the responsibility of analyzing, evaluating, and advising management on the effectiveness of work methods and procedures and developing recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 04/24/2024.
Applicant must be a current employee of the Veterans Benefits Administration in the Northeast District Office, a current employee of the Veterans Benefits Administration in the St. Louis Regional Office, or CTAP eligible.
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENT: For a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11 level.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-12 Specialized experience is defined as: experience with management and organization principles and practices of the VBA Regional Offices, provided the knowledge of quantitative and qualitative techniques to analyze, evaluate, and measure the effectiveness and efficiency of organizational operations for VBA Regional Offices, prepares and reviews reports concerning workload, performance and anticipated needs. The applicant must document knowledge of basic federal rules, laws, and regulations.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religions; spiritual; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
