This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DDHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: This IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK) position is assigned to PEO C3T, Tactical Network (6KC) Technical Management Division, in APG, MD.
Duties
Ensures compliance with DoD Software Modernization Strategy, AR 25-2 (Army Cybersecurity), Army Best Business Practices, and other application regulations.
Reviews directives, policies, programs, enterprise-wide functional user requirements and acquisition strategies to determine the impact and implications
supporting automations and orchestration.
Provides planning, oversight, and analysis of the software for enterprise applications, networks and labs.
Serves as representative in working groups regarding software development, automations and orchestration, and configuration management policies, standards, processes, and operating issues.
Responsible for reporting the automation posture of enterprise and tactical networks and applications to the Designated Approving Authority.
Requirements

- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT Certification within 60 months of entrance on duty.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 20% of the time.

Experience Requirements 2210 Series:

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties: 1) Preparing directives on resource management in both the information and financial areas; 2) Plan and coordinate the installation, configuration, and implementation of major hardware or software upgrades to the systems environment; and, 3) Ensure protective and corrective measures are implemented for vulnerabilities or incidents per the direction of the supporting Regional Computer Emergency Response Team (RCERT). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 or GS-11 equivalent.

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone-no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
