This position is in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC),Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Diversity , Inclusion and Dispute Resolution Office (DIDR). The incumbent serves as an EEO Specialist providing EEO, Diversity and Inclusion, and Dispute Resolution support across the AOC. The workforce includes professional, administrative, trades, and labor occupations.

You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in Federal service. Specialized experience includes the following (the applicant must meet a minimum of four (4) specialized experience qualifications):
(1) Comprehensive and thorough knowledge of laws, equal employment opportunity policy and procedures, rules, regulations, and precedent legal and administrative decisions related to personnel management.
(2) Demonstrates a broad range of fact-finding, investigative, and analytical techniques requiring decisions in interpreting varied and complex factual situations in the context of the requirements of laws, regulations, or policies.
(3) Experience with a dispute resolution program, which includes services such as conflict coaching, mediation, and group facilitation.
(4) Experience in conducting barrier and statistical analysis, resulting in action plans that promote outreach and increase minority participation and retention rates.
(5) Experience interpreting and applying guidelines in the context of employee complaints, claims, and surrounding organizational circumstances.
