This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as an Inventory Management Specialist (Order Fulfillment) within the Integrated Logistics Support Center Supply Chain Management Directorate located at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Duties

Assist other journeyman or senior Order Fulfillment Specialist with processing orders. Serve as a point of contact to assist supported units that contact the organization for support. Consults with others to accomplish completion of projects. Recommend solutions to improve the timely process of orders. Meet with stakeholders to discuss customers' needs and expectations.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position requires incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance, or access, for duration of employment.
• This position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• This position requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level, which includes: 1) Analyzing data to solve problems; and 2) Utilizing programs or tools to manage projects; and 3) Communicating or briefing status. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-04). OR Education: Successfully completed a full four (4) year course of study leading to a Bachelor's Degree. (NOTE: You MUST attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Experience and Education: The general experience as described in A, but less than three (3) years; and I have some education as described in B, but less than the required four (4) years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 36.
