About the Position: Responsible for overseeing logistics operations within the Brigade, including synchronization meetings, running estimates, and reporting processes. Plan, schedule, control, and direct resources to ensure timely, effective, and complete mission support, coordinating with various departments.

Duties

Oversee the daily functions of the multi-class SSA and subordinate employees as the SSA supervisor. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Identifies developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training. Monitors readiness and activities of aviation programs and projects for the TAAB Chief of Support Services, Executive Officer (XO), and the TAAB Commander. Coordinates with Staff and formulates receipt procedures and methodologies for new ground and aviation materiel acquisition. Coordinate and execute the internal annual Aviation Resource Management Survey (ARMS) inspections for each aviation support and maintenance company and troop.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Pre-employment and random drug testing while in the position. Must sign DA Form 5019-R.
  • May be required to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, holidays, and /or On-Call duty hours.
  • Required to obtain the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) certification within 4 months of start date. Incumbent must successfully complete the annual refresher training in order to maintain COR certification.

  • One-year Supervisory probationary period required if not already completed.
