Qualifications
NOTE: You must meet qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have 1 year of full-time* specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 level defined as experience formulating and executing large and complex budgets, leading data analysis, modeling performance measurement functions and producing clear, well written analytical products.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Ability to lead a staff of technical and/or administrative personnel.
Ability to evaluate the work of subordinates.
Skill in managing the development of policy changes in response to changes in levels of appropriation or other legislated changes.
Ability to effectively communicate program goals, policies and priorities to staff.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
Ability to set work plans and schedules ensuring implementation by team leaders, subordinates and others.
Skill in oral communication.
Ability to find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed.
