About the Position: The Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) will rapidly and efficiently research, develop, prototype, test, evaluate, procure, transition, and/or field critical enabling technologies and capabilities that address near-term and mid-term threats. The RCCTO will produce or acquire material solutions, consistent with the Army's modernization priorities that maximize Soldiers' capabilities to deploy, fight, and win on future battlefields.
Duties
Coordinate with military and civilian personnel specialists on the execution of a variety of military personnel programs.
Provide authoritative interpretation and instructions on personnel laws, regulations, policies and procedures, and develop command policies
and procedural guidance.
Promote the establishment and achievement of military personnel management objectives throughout the command and assist in
implementing Department of the Army directives.
Advise on Manpower Management functions for military positions to include analysis of military position structures and determination of proper grade and Military Occupational Specialists.
Advise the Staff on military personnel issues for all active duty and reserve Soldiers in accordance with personnel priority of fill from Human
Resources command for optimum officer and enlisted assignments.
Requirements

- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

- The duties of this position require occasional temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
- The position is Non-Critical Sensitive (2) requiring a Secret security clearance or the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a
Secret clearance.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 or (GS-11 equivalent) grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) advising management on Military Personnel principles and practices; 2) processing a wide variety of military personnel actions using military HR personnel systems and databases; 3) assisting in the development of military human resources policies and procedures; and 4) keeping abreast of new computer programs and military personnel databases.
The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 (or GS-11 equivalent).
