You will serve as a Safety and Occupational Health Manager in the Safety division of COMNAVREGSW SDIEGO.
Duties
You will analyze inspection or audit data to identify positive and negative trends in safety and occupational health processes.
You will document hazard assessments of administrative and industrial workplaces for later verification of corrective actions taken.
You will offer technical advice to project officers concerning recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace hazards during a project.
You will use computer software programs (e.g., Enterprise Safety Applications Management System [ESAMS] or similar systems) to document and maintain records and report data.
You will conduct risk assessments to evaluate potential hazards related to a work process.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing mishap reports to formulate process improvements; 2) Tracking hazard abatement programs; 3) Submitting all required reports resulting from personal injuries, off-duty injuries, motor vehicle mishaps, etc; 4) Performing analysis to control and minimize hazardous conditions; and 5) Ensuring compliance and enforcement of various safety and occupational health subprograms (such as sign and hearing conservation, respiratory protection, confined space entry, materials storage and transport, lead-based paint, etc).
