Schedule Options - Standard Schedule: 10 Days per Pay Period (8 hour shifts)
Alternate Work Schedule: 9 Days per Pay Period (8 9-hour shifts, one 8 hour shift)
Compressed Work Schedule: 8 Days per Pay Period (8 10 hour shifts)
Duties
Compiles, interprets, and analyzes data provided by maintenance and supply Logistic Assistance Representatives, Materiel Status Reports, Logistic Assistance Program reports and other source data.
Prepares selected inputs for monthly readiness briefings on logistic problems that degrade readiness or affect the capability of the unit/system to perform its combat mission.
Assists team leader in performing the detailed monthly readiness performance analysis for systems/units.
Serves as member and/or point of contact for the CECOM supportability assessment team program.

This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-02 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS-05 grade Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS-11 grade step 10 in the broadband. This position is covered by control points to account for variances in position responsibilities within the broadband. The Control Point for this position NH-02 Logistics Management Specialist is $45,146 to $107,590 including locality at the rate of 33.26%. Management will set the selectee's pay for this position within the control point salary range consistent with the qualifications and education of the selectee and the expected contribution for the position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Three (3) years of progressively responsible general work experience with one year of that experience equivalent to the NH-01 or GS-04 grade level, which includes (1) Drafting logistics support documents to aide in the development of System Acquisition strategies; and (2) Utilizing aspects of the integrated logistics support process to promote an effective property management system; and (3) Developing life cycle logistics support initiatives to lower overall life cycle systems cost.

(1) Drafting a support plan to aide in the development of a product, service, or process that supports organizational or customer priorities; (2) Utilizing aspects of a supported business process to promote effective customer support or a product management system; and (3) Developing a comprehensive strategy to lower the cost, resource, or administrative burden for managing a product, service, support process.
