About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25.
Duties
Administer the registration activities for a training program that involves large, diverse curricula and/or diverse training sources.
Develop and make recommendations that affect eligibility criteria for training course candidates.
Coordinate internally, with higher headquarters, and/ or external organizations to ensure required training is requested, approved, and scheduled and training space is available.
Maintais Army Training Requirements and Resources Systems (ATRRS) requests and allocations and has knowledge of applicable non-ATRRS schools and courses.
Input and monitors training and readiness statistics and compliance with published training guidance internal to the organization.
Proactively forecasts training requirements, schedules, and coordinates unit training events, and notifies individuals and leadership of individuals at risk of being out of compliance with training requirements.
Maintain liaison with training program instructors and training specialists to obtain information for projects and activities.
Using Range Facility Management Support System (RFMSS), schedule training resources to meet training requirements and collects and shares feedback which assists senior specialists in evaluating courses and land management.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Position is Special-Sensitive therefore the employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation background investigation for access to Sensitive Compartmental Information.
- Personnel assigned to work in an NSA facility must be able to obtain and maintain access to National Security Agency (NSA) facilities and networks.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks.
- This position is subject to taking and passing an initial Counter-Intelligence Scope Polygraph within 6 months of employee start date and follow-on periodic Counter-Intelligence Scope Polygraph.
- Must be willing to submit to a Counter-Intelligence-scope Polygraph (CISP) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI). Failure to submit to a CISP examination when required may result in removal from Federal Service.
- This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R, and must pass urinalysis testing, as required prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Duties of this position may entail alternative work schedules (AWS) such as variable or MAXIFLEX, including extended shifts (12 hours); 24/7 rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and/or and holidays as required.
- The employee is subject to recall for urgent situations; and/or working extended overtime in response to surge situations.
- Position requires lifting of 25 pounds.
- May be required to carry a cellular telephone/Portable Electronic Device (PED) and maintain a working personal telephone at all times.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must clearly describe the following quality experience:
Coordinating staff and faculty training for the department; revising and developing department letter of intents (LOIs), policy letter and/or Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) related to training, training procedures and/or training management; reviewing training, education, and related activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency, through course consolidation, standardization of instruction and administrative management improvement.
OR
Successfully completed a a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Education.
