Summary Description: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This position reports directly to the Director, Office of Project Management (PMO). You will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing and managing the development and/or acquisition, testing and implementation of a wide range of Information Technology (IT) and information management solutions.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Experience managing concurrent IT projects utilizing agile software development methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, etc.
Experience executing IT project management best practices and principles in government or private industry, including earned value management; requirements gathering; cost benefit/alternatives analysis; risk management, acquisition management, resource planning and scheduling.
Experience developing and communicating technical recommendations, strategies, and solutions, orally and in writing, to management and executives within an organization.
Experience leading IT modernization projects, migration of systems or deployment of newly developed systems into a cloud hosted environment such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), etc.
