You will serve as a SECRETARY (O/A) in the OFFICE OF THE COMMAND SUITE of NAVCONSTRBATCTRGPT.
Duties
You will maintain subject matter files and records to respond to technical and non-technical requests for information (e.g., status).
You will maintain schedules and calendar to ensure availability and attendance of higher-level officials.
You will compose documents (e.g., reports, memorandums) to provide written responses to requests or to provide scheduled (e.g., weekly, monthly) reports.
You will coordinate itineraries using protocol to ensure individuals are in place to meet with senior management or officials.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Receiving phone calls, greeting visitors, and responding to routine requests for information; 2) Prioritizing requests for information and status inquiries to ensure office goals are met; 3) Maintaining an office calendar, scheduling appointments, and arranging meetings for executives and superiors while avoiding conflicts; 4) Preparing correspondence using correct grammar, spelling, capitalization, format, and punctuation in compliance with established procedures and regulations; and 5) Utilizing appropriate social etiquette and required Military Protocol when interacting with high-ranking officials and VIPs.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
