You will serve as a SECRETARY (OFFICE AUTOMATION) in the MARITIME OPERATIONS CENTER (MOC) of 20THNAVALCONSTRREG.
Duties
You will submit accurate daily muster reports for divisions within the MOC Department and monitor the Administrative Officer (N1) command tickler for accuracy to ensure military personnel gains, transfers, separations and awards are processed.
You will serve as the administrative expert in the MOC Department on all administrative tasks.
You will maintain files of correspondence, publications, directives, travel and will maintain subject matter files and records that relate to the work of the department.
You will set up and maintain logs showing the status of actions (such as messages, leave, TAD, reports and telephone calls) and correspondence.
You will be assigned as the Trusted Agent for the Administrative Department and Maritime Operations Center Department.
You will input personal contractor information into the Trusted Agent Sponsorship (TASS).
You will serve as the Command Protocol Officer and manage visitors to the command and advise senior leadership in order to prepare itineraries.

Qualifications
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
To qualify for the SECRETARY, GS-0318-07, your resume must demonstrate at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the level of difficulty and responsibility to that of the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience acting as a liaison between the chain of command and interfacing with other departments, subordinate offices and higher offices to coordinate the work of the office with other clerical personnel, secretaries and supervisors.
Experience establishing administrative priorities including maintaining effective records and administration files for a department or organization (e.g.; Annual Military Fitness Reports (FITREPS), Status of Positions, Awards, Etc.).
Experience utilizing automated office software systems for scheduling and monitoring management and staff activities and to produce office correspondence i.e., reports, charts, spreadsheets; coordinating meetings, briefings, and conference notes in compliance with the Navy Correspondence Manual.
Experience providing travel management support functions (i.e. input for fiscal year travel budget, preparing orders, scheduling travel, making travel arrangements and verifying travel vouchers, per diem and allowance policies, foreign entry, etc. ).
Experience requisitioning and obtain office supplies and reproductions from items (i.e. photocopies, distributes correspondence, memoranda, reports and assignment schedules).
