In this position you will exercise first level supervisory and managerial authorities over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the Client Services Center. Responsible for performing professional cyber networking, infrastructure planning, maintenance, and installation support of the 96th Test Wing and Team Eglin units.

As a supervisor, you will spend at least 25% of your time managing personnel. This includes planning tasks for your subordinates, prioritizing them in both the short and long term, and creating schedules to ensure timely completion of work.
Assesses the job performance of employees and provides them with guidance, advice, and instruction on work-related and administrative issues.
Highly skilled in creating and delivering presentations to high-level executives regarding control of production, operations, and maintenance activities.
Develops, integrates, and implements solutions to diverse, highly complex problems across multiple areas and disciplines.
Recruits, develops, motivates, and retains quality team members in accordance with EEO/AA and Merit System Principles.
Requirements

- Obtain and maintain Top Secret Security clearance.
- This is a designated Drug Testing Position
- A professional Information Technology (IT) degree from an accredited institution is highly desired, but not mandatory.
- Must have and maintain IAM Level I Information Assurance Certification for assignment of these duties.
- May be required to work overtime.
- Must have excellent leadership skills and be able to manage information systems implementation, operations, and maintenance activities.
- Possess a deep understanding of cyber, information technology, and information management assessment, planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Be familiar with the principles, methods, and tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing cyber information technologies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- This position MAY be eligible for relocation expenses reimbursed (PCS costs MAY be paid). Specifics will be discussed with the Selecting Official
- Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and Office of Personnel Management (OPM) prescribed “Unscheduled Telework.
- Must have a solid grasp of supervisory concepts, techniques, and managerial approaches utilized to identify, engage, influence, and supervised relationships with individuals and groups engaged in information technologies
- Possess extensive knowledge of cyber, information technology, and management of those system imaging, patching, restoral, and backup functional areas using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for Information Technology (IT) Management Series 2210 (Alternative A) located here

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02 or equivalent to the next lower grade GS-11 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience professional cyber networking, infrastructure planning, maintenance and installation support, and management of those system imaging, patching, restoral, and backup functional areas using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Expert knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques of cyber, IT, or IM assessment, planning, management, administration, monitoring, and evaluation as well as knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, managing cyber, IT, or IM projects and resources, monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance.
Knowledge of the principles, methods, and tools for the coordinated management of cyber, IT, or IM programs to include providing oversight of multiple projects, integrating dependent schedules and deliverables, and related activities such as life cycle management and program governance.
Knowledge of the principles and methods to identify, analyze, specify, design, and manage functional and infrastructure requirements; includes translating functional requirements into technical requirements used for logical design or alternative technologies or approaches.
Knowledge of concepts, practices, and leadership techniques used to identify, engage, influence and monitor relationships with individuals and groups connected to cyber, IT, or IM work/development efforts.
Knowledge of methods of leadership and supervision to hold others accountable for measurable high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results.
Skill in leading productive teams and work centers.
