Duties
Responsible for operating functions in personnel, information, and physical security for the Agency.
Serves as Agency drug program coordinator. Ensures that random drug testing of Agency personnel is requested in accordance with procedures outlined in the DCAA and DoD Drug Testing Policy Doctrine.
Develops and revises Agency security policies to implement laws or directives.
Advises and makes recommendation to Agency security staff, managers and employees regarding issues, policy or procedures changes that could impact or enhance the Agency's security programs.
Leads or assists in strategic planning studies and projects for DCAA's security programs and ensures that related goals and objectives are met. Analyzes security reports, data, surveys and other information related to strategic planning.
Participates in working groups with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and DoD representatives.

Qualifications
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.
You must meet the minimum qualification requirements as stated in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Operating Manual, Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, http://www.opm.gov/qualifications/Standards/group-stds/gs-prof.asp.
Specialized Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-12 or equivalent level. Specialized experience must be documented in your resume.Specialized experience includes experience applying a wide range of security disciplines, concepts, principles, and practices to produce security reports. Experience in processing of personnel investigations, and conducting security reviews, determining, and verifying security clearance and access eligibility. Experience leading a diverse workforce and mentoring security specialists.
