The incumbent will manage and coordinate organization-wide efforts to ensure that performance management (PM) and quality improvement (QI) programs are developed and managed focusing on agency priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic initiatives.

Duties
The duties and responsibilities for a Program Analyst generally include, but are not limited to, the following:
Evaluate and monitor administrative programs and policies to make substantive recommendations for program improvements.
Research and use project management and process improvement tools to coordinate, monitor, and manage assignments.
Develop and maintain detailed program policies, processes and procedures to align with the organization's mission, initiatives, and management expectations.
Coordinate with appropriate personnel to implement smooth, speedy, and efficient workflow processes.
Ensure training is aligned with agency strategic goals and objectives assigns all mandated training and assures completion.
Oversee the internship program ensuring quality by implementing evidence based, promising and best practices while consistently meeting external contract compliance standards.
Review internship applications and work collaboratively with the organization manager to create positions descriptions.
Maintain and update internship program information as necessary.
Requirements
- You must be a United States Citizen or National.
- You will be required to complete a pre-employment security investigation and background check which includes a drug screening.
- You may be required to complete a one-year probationary or two-year trial period.
- Selective Service registration is required for males born on, or after, December 31st 1959. Those not registered should have an approved exemption on file.

Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Program Analyst at (GS-0343-12), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade you're applying to.
If you are a current or former government employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, you will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade. Additionally, please ensure to submit an applicable SF50 (please refer to the "required documents" section for additional information).
For the GS-12: Specialized Experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is defined as monitoring administrative programs and policies; researching and applying project management tools to coordinate assignments; coordinating and implementing workflow processes related to administrative services; maintain and update program information as necessary
