About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the Business Mangement Directorate, Information Management and Support Directorate.

Duties

Reviews certification and accreditation documentation to ensure it is compliant with Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Program (DIACAP). Develops procedures to generate and maintain required documents. Maintains data base of system accreditation status, develops reports, and alerts system proponents when accreditation documentation must be updated. Reviews risk assessments and analyze impact of potential vulnerabilities. Develops guidance and procedures for implementation.. Develops procedures using risk assessment methods concerning local environments, processing procedures, personnel and other system components. Reviews Army policy and develops ILSC policy and procedures that implement the Army's Information Assurance subprograms and initiatives. Maintains data base of system accreditation status, develops reports, and alerts system proponents when accreditation documentation must be updated. Assembles authorization packages for staffing. Conducts surveys to determine compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance..
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) and travel may be up to 10% of the time for the position.
  • Information Assurance (IA) Certification at Technical Level II within six months of appointment to the position
