About the Position: Serves as a Readiness Analyst for the U. S. Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE). The incumbent will serve as the MEDCoE Medical Protection System (MEDPROS) program manager (PM)/subject matter expert (SME) providing advice and consultation to commanders, leaders, and operators. Under the Operations Div serves as a staff action officer for the branch responsible forperforming readiness assessments, research, and special project/studies.
Duties
Plans, develops, and implements medical readiness procedures and reporting for MEDCoE and all subordinate units.
Coordinates with other organizational elements, other directorates, other commands, contractors as appropriate, to obtain and exchange information and develop recommendations for management decisions.
Manages MEDCoE 's Unit Medical Readiness (UMR). Responsible for implementing the UMR Program at distance education installations/units and insuring compliance with reporting requirements.
Serves as an inspector on the Command Inspection Program (CIP). As Subject Mater Expert for Individual Medical Readiness, Unit Medical Readiness, MEDPROS and DOD/DA immunization programs, develops and updates the CIP checklist for the MEDCoE.
Make necessary adjustments, modifications, and revisions to meet objectives, and remains well-informed on current trends, tendencies, developments, and overall status of activities.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the federal service which demonstrates experience working with a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for assessment and improvement of program effectiveness or improvement of complex management processes and systems; maintaining unit operational readiness databases and developing reports and support graphics; developing and implementing policies, program guidance and objectives relating to assigned responsibilities and translating into operational management methods, systems, and operations; evaluating methods and management techniques in order to analyze unit operational readiness and preparedness issues related to command and control, as well as long-range operational planning. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above).
