Duties

The United States Space Force (USSF) Headquarters Space Force Command (HQSF), Chief Technology and Innovation Office (CTIO) at the Pentagon is searching for a Digital Information Manager, (NH-0343-03). Description: The position serves as a key member of a fast-paced L2 office team, with substantial responsibility, ability to engage with peers in and beyond CTIO, opportunity to integrate across on-going work, and capacity to shape knowledge management practice. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in knowledge management, understanding IT regulations, knowledge of business process improvement/innovation and digital knowledge implementation, high degree of organization, ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and ability to analyze, interpret and apply rules, regulations, and procedures in a variety of situations. Additionally, the candidate possess the ability to think critically and identify areas for process improvements across the organization. Key Skills and Abilities: 1. In-depth knowledge of records management and IT regulations, principles, processes, and documentation procedures; knowledge of agile management strategies and information management needs; ability to interpret policy and procedures applicable to configuration and data management and tailor support programs to specific requirements. 2. Knowledge of business process innovation and as well as associated understanding of technology concepts, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient to evaluate new and emerging knowledge management usages, the feasibility of proposed new systems in addition, applications software projects; and to design, test and maintain information systems and applications software and ensure successful integration with existing and anticipated infrastructure. 3. Extensive knowledge specialized data and technology innovation subject matter or program areas sufficient to analyze, recommend, and produce integrated presentation of concepts and/or data for publications, exhibits, or presentation materials relevant to CTIO mission areas. 4. Ability to schedule, coordinate, track, and react to changes in/to leadership processes and direction. 5. Ability to analyze and improve work processes, including task management systems. 6. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing to prepare and present briefings, coordinate planning efforts, and manage program activities. 7. Ability to research, analyze, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, and procedures to a variety of situations and to recommend timely and economical solutions. 8. Ability to plan and organize work and coordinate with other disciplines. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and MS Teams as a knowledge or information manager. 2. Experience with a Task Management Tool such as ETMS2, Sales Force, or other COTS product

  • This position is on-site and eligible for telework within commuting distance to the office, 4-6 days per pay period.
  • PCS and incentives are not available.
