Duties

You will support multiple DOD Major Defense Acquisition programs for total life cycle and configuration management support of hardware, software and technical documentation. You will provide essential Configuration Management Support and will be responsible for ensuring that the processes, activities, tasks, resources, trained staff and management support are in place to provide effective IT policy and planning. You will perform Configuration Management Planning and Management, Configuration Identification, Configuration Change Management, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Verification and Audit, and fiduciary planning support. You will be reviewing, analyzing, and executing Configuration Management reviews of Technical Data Packages and Drawings; validation, and auditing of Bill of Materials, develop top-down break-down structures, CM baselines, and as-builts. You will provide support in the digital transformation of Integrated Product Support elements and deliverables through the utilization of Digital Engineering principles. You will be accountable for supporting the Data Governance policies of the applications and tools.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

• This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 level Entry within 12 months of appointment.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position is subject to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or NO-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: ability to support multiple Major Defense Acquisition programs for total life cycle and configuration management support of hardware, software and documenting, adhering to, enforcing, improving and communicating Configuration Management processes for software, hardware and systems.
