About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Eisenhower, Georgia.
Duties
Manages information activities for ARCYBER, to include but not limited to Electromagnetic Warfare (EW), Military Information Support Operations (MISO), IO plans, Special Technical Operations (STO), and deception activities.
Ensures that information activities are reflected ARCYBER Information Warfare Operations Center (IWOC) common operating picture(s) for shared situational awareness and understanding.
Maintains situational awareness of supported Joint and Coalition information activities.
Represents the IO program at USCYBERCOM working groups, in-progress reviews, and other.
Serves as the Operations Officer for the ARCYBER G39; managing civilian personnel including; interviewing candidates for positions, recommending appointment, promotion, or reassignment to such positions.
Resolves complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager.
Provides subject matter expertise and recommendations regarding ARCYBER needs, requirements, and positions relating to both near term and long-term planning efforts.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI).
- Must undergo and successfully complete an initial and periodic Counter-Intelligence Polygraph (CI Poly) examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI).
- Must pass an initial and periodic urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain access to NSA and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) accredited facilities and networks. [Military Affairs Desk Officer (MADO) Security In-Processing (SIP) process.]
- The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the DA, Drug Free Federal Workplace Program.
- Temporary duty travel may be required approximately 5% of the time
- One-year probationary period may be required.
- This is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f.

- Appointment to this position is subject to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in DoDI 1400.25 V3005,
- Cyber Excepted Service, Employment and Placement. While serving a probationary period the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe One Year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1.Planning or executing one or more of the following for the command: information operations (IO), psychological operations (PSYOP), military information support operations (MISO), special technical operations (STO), military deception (MILDEC), or electronic/electromagnetic warfare (EW) within the Army, other military services, or Department of Defense 2. Integrating non-lethal capabilities or effects (including IO, military information support operations (MISO/PSYOP), military deception (MILDEC), electronic/electromagnetic warfare (EW), or special technical operations (STO) for the command. 3. Managing projects (e.g, establishing work plans, deliverable timelines, and decision criteria), advocating for adequate funding, facilities, overseeing employees for accountability and conducting task management.
