You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the NWS ACQUISITION & OPERATIONS BRANCH (SP32) of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
Duties
You will lead Nuclear Weapons Surety efforts as the Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS) Program Manager supporting system acquisition and sustainment of urgent and emerging capability needs for the Integrated Nuclear Weapons Security System.
You will collaborate with Science and Technology forums, organizations, and entities to assess advanced C-UAS technologies available to close INWSS capability gaps.
You will provide oversight of acquisition programmatic elements to include; concept design and prototyping; budget and schedule management; and systems engineering.
You will perform assessments and evaluations of C-UAS for potential integration into the Integrated Nuclear Weapon Security System.
You will develop unique supporting justification and provides direct interface to defend research and development funding through the entire Navy and DOD planning, programming and budgeting review process.
You will develop necessary acquisition documentation required to provide authorized use of needed capabilities.
You will assist with design and conduct of comprehensive studies related to protection of SWS/NWS assets.
You will evaluate rapid insertion/emerging capability policy to ensure SSP and locally generated policies and protocols are effective.
You will provide oversight of acquisition programmatic elements to include; developing and executing test and evaluation events; supporting the transition and sustainment of advanced technology C-UAS programs into INWSS.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing actions to address vulnerabilities or risks associated with engineering systems programs.
