You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/ENTARCH) in the C4 DIRECTORATE of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will coordinate with stakeholders to identify key C4 requirements of operations, activities, and investments (OAIs) across the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command area of operations.
You will engage and maintain close working relationships with stakeholders to plan, implement, and/or review technical C4 issues and activities in support of operational priorities.
You will participate in operational planning efforts, exercises, forums, etc. to analyze risk and develop approaches and strategies for supporting C4 operational projects.
You will generate and/or compile decision support products for command leadership.
You will prepare, present, and defend recommendations and planning products to senior leaders.
You will manage projects as assigned and support innovation and further development of the organization and processes.
Requirements

- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area IAM level I within 12 months of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You may be required to obtain and maintain an official passport and a current valid United States driver’s license.
Qualifications
GS-13 Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1.) Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to assess enterprise architecture requirements needed support to operations; 2.) Utilizing knowledge management tools to integrate and display relevant information in support of operational planning activities; 3.) Preparing, presenting, and defending recommendations and operational planning products to support senior decision making; 4.) Managing IT-related or other projects to include developing and modifying plans, monitoring project activities, and taking corrective action to solve issues.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
GS-12 Level: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience performing work equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1.) Partnering with internal and external stakeholders to assess enterprise architecture support to operations; 2.) Utilizing knowledge management tools to integrate and display relevant information and develop reports; 3.) Conducting both oral and written communication clearly to explain operational information to senior leaders; 4.) Working with leadership to define scope, requirements, and deliverables for IT-related or other projects.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
