About the Position: Serves as the Supply Technician in the Battalion Consolidated Supply Office performing duties in the support of the following organizations: 2nd Battalion, 6th Air Defense Artillery Battalion, 30th Air Defense Artillery Brigade at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Duties

Coordinate supply requests for the organization. Log all transactions made with government purchase card. Ensure proposed purchases are in accordance with organization budget and regulations. Coordinate with school officials on supply and equipment requirements. Monitor supply order statuses from various suppliers. Prepare reports and necessary documentation for transfer of property.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a license to drive US Government vehicles.

Specialized Experience: One year of experience which includes: Issue supplies to organizational personnel, Provide technical support to customers with supply issues; Maintain hand receipts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service (GS-05). OR Education: A half year (i.e., 9 semester hours) of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Logistics or Business Administration. (Note: you must attach a copy of your transcripts) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Manages and Organizes InformationOrganizational AwarenessTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
