DCSA's Security Training is looking for an Administrative Officer to provide administrative assistance to the Operations and Academic Support Division within the National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA), in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina. This job requires a self motivator with strong attention to detail and customer service skills to support the nation's polygraph training mission. As a ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER you will be responsible for the following duties:

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG 11 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Databases, data manipulation, report design, and data retrieval; Administrative tasks and procedures in support of a training/academic environment; Customer service skills and the ability to effectively resolve difficult, complex and/or unique problems; Managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1. Attention to Detail Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service. Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Education and Training Knowledge of teaching, training, research, making presentations, lecturing, testing, and other instructional methods. 4. Information Management Identifies a need for and knows where or how to gather information, organizes and maintains information or information management systems. 5. Program Support Process of managing several related projects, often with the intention of improving an organization's performance.
