About the Position: This position is located in Reynolds Army Health Clinic at Fort Sill, OK. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation

Duties

Provide direction and assistance to clinic staff regarding administration and business operations. Serve as the clinic primary point of contact for administrative requests from/to the Resource Management Division and the Logistics Division. Perform internal administrative responsibilities related to the efficient operation of the clinic, such as in/out processing, tracking training compliance, initiating personnel actions, and managing and reporting time and attendance data. Serve as primary hand-receipt holder, responsible for clinic equipment accountability, conducting inventories, transferring equipment as required, submitting requests for equipment repair, and acting as liaison with the Property Book Office. Act on behalf of the supported clinic chief for all matters related to clinical practice management and business operations. Directly supervise the clerical staff. Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for issues involving training, templates, schedules, and appointing.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes managing administrative operations in a clinical setting; preparing written correspondence; and utilizing health care system databases to enter and retrieve data. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. You MUST provide a copy of your transcripts. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You MUST provide a copy of your transcripts.
